Who's the second contestant to leave the Great British Bake Off tent?

The Great British Bake Off continues at 8pm on BBC One.

And Welsh contestant Louise Williams paid the price when her wedding chapel made from biscuits literally crumbled and she was sent packing, before admitting she was upset she didn't get a chance to show viewers what she can do.

Sue Perkins will be absent from Wednesday night's (31.08.16) episode of "The Great British Bake Off".

In a sneak preview of tonight's GBBO, we saw Mel introducing Biscuit Week all on her lonesome.

"Having lived with Sue, I felt my weight creep up by about half a stone, just because you fall into that relaxed way of sitting on the sofa, enjoying biscuits", Richardson said.

She says: "Welcome to week two in the Bake Off tent".

A spokesperson for the show explained: 'Sue was not able to join the team in the tent this week, but she returns next week'.

Fox News Responds to Tantaros Lawsuit by Calling Her an 'Opportunist'
Tantaros sued the cable news channel and several top executives last week, alleging retaliation by the network. Carlson's lawsuit prompted Fox to hire a prominent NY law firm to conduct an internal investigation.

We were wowed by 12 new contestants who all proved you don't have to be particularly good at baking to make it on the show.

Paul said: "I think Candice has done phenomenally well".

So, we reached out to the lady herself to find out what brands she's been wearing.

And finally there was this exchange between Mel and Mary Berry about Candice's use of ginger cake as the carpet of her gingerbread pub.

However, the 81-year-old legend believes the programme will have no problem surviving if Paul, 50, was to decide to leave the show.

One wrote: 'Laughing my head off at Mel on Bake Off, she's my hero, ' while another commented: 'Mel literally completes bake off for me, she's hilarious'.
