Construction temporarily halted this week after Obama delayed his decision, but Trump's presence is already insinuating itself into discussions around the site.

"We are not being heard and we want to back up our law enforcement and National Guard that we support what they are doing", said a pipeline supporter.

The call for a "massive day of action in solidarity with those at Standing Rock, and demand the federal government and the Army Corps reject this pipeline", came from 350.org with several organizers in ME towns coordinating events held on Tuesday, with others continuing through the remainder of this week.

Dozens lined the front entrance of the downtown Wells Fargo building to demand the bank pulls its funding for the project.
