JIM LEE Brings HARRY POTTER to Comic Books - With JK ROWLING's Blessing

JIM LEE Brings HARRY POTTER to Comic Books - With JK ROWLING's Blessing

In Rowling's introductory welcome message, the Harry Potter author explains her reasons for launching the site, and gives a brief overview of its features - including the intriguing sentence below, about a "debunking function". Vielma worked at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando and was a huge fan of the magical franchise.

That Rowling really knows how to work Twitter.

Notably, in a Q&A, Rowling reveals the answer toe one questions she's apparently "been asked at least once a week for nine years" concerning the Basilisk in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Her response? You better believe it.

The website doesn't have much new stuff except for Rowling's promise to write on it more often and FAQs about Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - which sure will be of some interest to Potterheads.

School Under Fire for Nixing Charlie Brown Display
It's not the first time "A Charlie Brown Christmas" has caused holiday controversy. The school district was unmoved by his arguments, however.

And a new announcement from J.K. Rowling could pave the way for even more in 2017.

51 year old Rowling is now working on her fourth novel under her pseudonym of Robert Galbraith, although neither a title nor a release date has yet been confirmed. Its homepage features a scroll-down image of lots of things that are littering her work desk, including pictures of her dog Bronte, her phone, scribbled writings and one note that reads "I want a large gin".

While the Robert Galbraith novel will likely be a continuation of the Cormoran Strike series, the J.K. Rowling penned book is a mystery.

Don't ever think the author of Harry Potter rests on her laurels and Daniel Radcliffe money, because she's probably busy writing right now. So, there is hope.
