Playstation Communities now has its own app for Android

The new Communities App is said to function exactly as it does on PS4, allowing users to create, join and interact with groups from wherever they are.

The PlayStation Communities app comes for assistance when you do not have enough players for a raid, as the app may fill out your team.

Sony added that you can also discover new communities in the app itself, which even "provides recommendations based on the games you've played and highlights which communities are trending".

It is a circle where the people in the group share the same interest in gaming. You can also enable push notifications, on a community-to-community basis, to receive information about the activity in your communities.

The Current Branch for Business designation is awarded about four months after the Current Branch of Windows is publicly released. Over the summer, Microsoft began pushing out the Windows 10Anniversary Update to consumer PCs (and the Xbox One).

Communities are immediately available on the PlayStation 4, and the PlayStation Communities app will be on Google Play and iTunes later today.

Communities are places where you can find players on PlayStation Network who have similar interests and preferences. But apps for major smartphone operating systems have a major upside: users find it much more convenient to find friends, post messages, and chat with other players on their phone, instead of using the controller to do the same on the console. This isn't the first-time Sony has launched a standalone app for a singular goal. The app's design makes it easy for you to post text and images that you want.
