Redmi Note 4X has been tipped to come with 64GB internal storage

Both the devies come with a 5-inch HD display and a metal body, 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. As can be seen from the official TENAA images, the device resembles the other Redmi Series phablets that are in the market now, but will reportedly come with slightly more powerful hardware than both the Redmi Note 3 and the Redmi Note 4. Although the company launched two new colours of its existing Redmi 4 smartphone in China recently, now the company has shifted its focus on the upcoming Note-series phones.

If pricing will be based on China, RedMi Note 4 base variant 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage might sell at Rs9,000 ($130) while the 3GB variant with 64GB of onboard storage might be sold for Rs12,000 (roughly $175). But tech observers speculate that the launch will happen on January 4th next year, BGR reported. The company in previous leak, was expected to launch the successor to Redmi Note 3 in India sometime in January.

The leaked image of the Redmi Note 4X was spotted by Playfuldroid and it doesn't show the design of the upcoming phone, but rather the About Phone section, thus confirming rumored specs. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow (out-of-the-box).

They also come with a hydrid card slot where one of the slots can be used to expand the memory up to 128GB. The smartphone is a new variant of the Redmi Note 4. With regard to its camera, the main snapper has a 12 MP Sony IMX378 and a 4 MP front shooter for selfies. It is fueled with a very big 4,100 mAh battery. As can be seen from one of the images, the device will also sport a fingerprint scanner on the back, while the battery is expected to be 4,100mAh unit. The third variant with 4GB of RAM might display a Rs15,000 price tag ($220).
