Tom Savage threw for 260 yards after Brock Osweiler was benched in the second quarter, and Lamar Miller scored Houston's only with less than three minutes remaining as the Texans rallied for a 21-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The Jaguars jumped out to a 13-0 second-quarter lead, and Texans coach Bill O'Brien had seen enough.

The Texans benched Osweiler in the second quarter after he threw a pair of interceptions.

Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles finished 12 of 28 for 92 yards.

Prior to his benching, in addition to his two interceptions, Osweiler completed just six of 11 passes on the day for 48 yards.

It was the first regular-season appearance since December 14, 2014 for Savage, who missed all of last season with a shoulder injury.

The $72-million man is now an expensive clipboard holder. He was dominant for the Houston offensive line and a big reason why the team was unable to score an offensive touchdown in the second half (the only touchdown was a kickoff return by Marqise Lee). That was the Jaguars' first interception since October 2 against Indianapolis in London, a span of 326 pass attempts by opposing quarterbacks. It was Osweiler's fourth game this season with multiple interceptions.

Wide receiver-turned-running back Ty Montgomery ran for a career-high 162 yards and two touchdowns, and the Packers (8-6) earned their fourth straight victory despite blowing a 17-point lead in the fourth quarter.

The Texans headed into halftime, trailing 13-5.
