Dolphins End Regular Season With Loss to Patriots

So when New England traveled from cold MA and beat the Dolphins in the warm weather in Miami, Brady released a Game of Thrones themed issue of TB Times.

There were some who wondered just how much Julian Edelman would play in the season-finale, myself included.

For New England, they will be looking to lock up the No. 1 seed in the AFC Playoffs, making the road to the Super Bowl go through Foxboro. They will play the Steelers in the first round. Surprisingly, New England is "only" 6-2 at Gillette Stadium this season.

The Dolphins came into today's game with an outside shot of locking up the fifth seed and making a trip to face the Houston Texans next week.

Shea McClellin returned the ball deep into Dolphins territory, killing the Dolphins best chance to get back in the game.

Prince George & Princess Charlotte Enjoy Christmas Day Candy Canes at Church Service!
For Prince George and Princess Charlotte, it was their first Christmas service as children do not attend the royal church service. For the Christmas outing to church, William wore a red tie which toned in with the colour of his wife's coat.

The Dolphins could have moved up to the No. 5 seed with a victory over New England combined with a San Diego victory over Kansas City.

ABOUT THE PATRIOTS (13-2): Tom Brady missed the earlier matchup against the Dolphins while serving a four-game suspension, but he is putting up some of the most impressive numbers of his career with 25 touchdowns against two interceptions. But New England answered quickly, getting a 77-yard touchdown pass toss from Brady to Julian Edelman. Blount sparked the drive with three consecutive runs for 31 yards, and Brady delivered a 14-yard touchdown pass to Floyd, who fought through six Dolphins to cross the goal line for the first time with his new team. Running back Jay Ajayi had 59 yards on 16 carries (3.7 yards per carry) while wide receiver Jarvis Landry had 76 yards on nine receptions, including a bruising touchdown. Brady hooked up with Michael Floyd for a 14-yard scoring strike, with Floyd dragging the Dolphins secondary the last five yards.

If anything, the Patriots success - despite the absence of Tom Brady -- will make the league think twice before getting into expensive and damaging public relations battle over such an uncertain matter.

After Miami went three and out in their own opening drive that lasted just 90 seconds, New England went on the front foot again, claiming touchdown number two from new-boy Michael Floyd. With Moore connecting on short underneath passes to Damien Williams and Landry, the Dolphins marched down to the Patriots 25. Floyd cleared the path with a devastating block on Lippett, and Edelman raced to the end zone.
