The presentation of pilocarpine are tablets to be administered orally. When pilocarpine is used to treat radiotherapy dry mouth in those with head and neck cancer, it is usually taken three times a day. When pilocarpine is used to treat dry mouth caused by Sjogren's syndrome, it is usually taken four times a day. Take the pilocarpine at about the same time (s) every day. Carefully follow the instructions in the prescription and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain anything you do not understand. Take the pilocarpine as directed. Do not increase or decrease the dose, or take it more often than your doctor tells you.

Your doctor may prescribe an average dose of pilocarpine and then adjust it, depending on what So well control your symptoms and any side effects you may have. Do not forget to tell your doctor how you feel during pilocarpine treatment.

Pilocarpine will control the symptoms but will not cure the disease. Continue to take the pilocarpine even if you feel well. Do not stop taking the pilocarpine without consulting your doctor.
