Slaven Bilic: Phil Jones got Sofiane Feghouli sent off against Man United

Slaven Bilic has bemoaned Mike Dean's decision to show Sofiane Feghouli a red card during West Ham United's 2-0 defeat to Manchester United.

However, there has been one massive talking point after West Ham's Sofiane Feghouli was sent off in the 12th minute for a lunging tackle on Phil Jones.

Dean, who has awarded the most penalties and red cards in the Premier League this season, deliberated before sending off the winger and former United defender Neville suggested the angry reaction to Feghouli's tackle influenced the decision.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho said he did not feel sorry for West Ham after Feghouli's dismissal at London Stadium.

And Bilic claimed Dean had been conned by Jones, saying: "I was very surprised by the red card".

"It was never a red card". I am the first one the say the referee has a very hard job any time we have to look at slow motion, but I said at the time I would not have been happy with a yellow card. "The more times I've seen it, it's the other way round".

Analysts Recommendation and Rating Review: Cempra Inc (NASDAQ:CEMP)
Cempra Inc (NASDAQ:CEMP)'s highest estimates of price target are $40 and low forecast is $2 based on the opinion of 13 analysts. Finally, DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale increased its stake in shares of Cempra by 7.9% in the second quarter.

Replays showed it was more of a coming together between two players committed to winning the ball than a reckless challenge meant to cause harm.

There is no doubt Feghouli lost control of the ball and deserved a booking for his challenge on Jones. Jones was late. I would have been disappointed even with yellow so early in a game for a player who does not normally make fouls.

Antonio Valencia was guilty of an astonishing miss for the visitors before substitute Juan Mata scored from 10 yards after Marcus Rashford's clever pass.

The United boss said: "I think it was not a very good performance".

"Ten men against a team like this is very hard, but we had chances. With 10 men to be that long in a game against a really good team, it's really hard".

But even before this - before the game had kicked off - Dean had already managed to catch the eyes of many watching the game on TV.
