Will Megyn Kelly Boot Days Of Our Lives Off The Air?

Will Megyn Kelly Boot Days Of Our Lives Off The Air?

The Murdoch family, which controls Fox News' parent, 21st Century Fox, has said freely that it has no arrangements to essentially change the system's in-house voice in conclusion programming. "Fox has not felt like home to me for a few years and I took advantage of the clause in my contract which allows me to leave now", Van Susteren wrote in a Facebook post at the time.

"Tucker Carlson Tonight" will move to 9 p.m. beginning January 9, with his 7 p.m. time slot being filled temporarily by Martha MacCallum a week later, who will host a show chronicling President-elect Donald Trump's first 100 days in office. "Viewers have overwhelmingly responded to the show and we look forward to him being a part of Fox News' powerful primetime line-up".

"I think it's a smart move".

Tucker Carlson's star is on the rise at Fox News.

"Nobody knows what she is going to be doing", said the source.

Massachusetts Sheriff Suggests Inmates Can Help Build the Wall
Trump promised a border wall throughout the campaign, but also said Mexico would pay for it and that it would serve as a domestic job-creation mechanism. "These inmates, they're skilled, they want to be able to do these things", he said.

Replacing Greta Van Susteren, Carlson has scored consistently strong ratings since the November 14 premiere of "Tucker Carlson Tonight". It's also one of the longest running programs ever.

Carlson's selection is a swift conclusion to an anchor sweepstakes that only emerged on Tuesday, when Kelly, the No. 2 anchor in cable news ratings, behind her colleague Bill O'Reilly, announced that she would be leaving Fox for NBC News. Kelly's exact role at the network hasn't been announced yet - but according to People, she has been offered multiple jobs including a daytime news and talk show.

Greta Van Susteren, the longtime Fox News host who left the network suddenly in September, is heading to MSNBC, considered the polar opposite politically from her former home.

DAYS still has a contract with Sony Pictures Television through early this year and this new revelation puts doubts into whether the contract will be renewed.
