NCAA Tournament Day 6 - Texas Opponent Crushed, One Team Remains

MI is averaging 1.148 points per possession this season, with UCLA and Gonzaga the only remaining teams with better marks than that. The victor of this Elite 8 matchup will advance to the Final Four.

Anything can happen in the Sweet 16. Hopefully, Friday is just as good as Thursday. Three of those wins, Minnesota, Purdue and Wisconsin, were over NCAA Tournament teams. This is going to be a fun, up-and-down game without a lot of defense, but the Ducks are slightly better at that end of the court. Assuming he stays on the court, the 6-foot-11 Wagner could be a load for an OR team that's advanced this far without rim protector Chris Boucher (11.8 points per game, 6.1 rebounds per game), who suffered a season-ending ACL tear in the Pac-12 tournament.

North Carolina opened as a +600 co-favorite at the sportsbooks. West Virginia played them close and even lead in the final minutes, but the Zags execution in the last couple minutes of the game made the difference, propelling them to the Elite Eight.

No. 1 Notre Dame vs. Three of the four match-ups were decided by three points or less. I expect the Bulldogs to hold a steady lead throughout the entirety of the game.

No. 1 Baylor vs.

The company known for DieHard batteries and Kenmore appliances has been selling assets, most recently its Craftsman tool brand. Several Stock Research Financial Advisors from Investment Banking firms have advised their client and investors on the stock.

Sunday night's game was a tale of two halves, as the Blue Devils held SC to a mere 23 points in the first half. The Wildcats may be comfortable playing at such a quick rate, but the Bruins are one of the few teams in the country who can turn that against them, given UCLA's ruthless efficiency on offense. Caleb Swanigan showed his full array of skills (20 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists) against Iowa State in the second round, and they Jayhawks simply don't have the personnel to guard him and seven-footer Isaac Haas at the same time. Purdue's key in this game will be to get Landen Lucas in foul trouble, and that is their only chance to win. But Kansas has an elite backcourt led by Frank Mason III.

No. 2 Stanford vs.

Following that matchup, No. 2 Arizona Wildcats, the Pacific Coast Conference regular season and conference tournament champions, will play No. 11 Xavier, the lone double digit seed remaining in the tournament field.

On the flip side, Arizona has the offensive weapons to take advantage of the holes in Xavier's extended zone.
