A urine and blood test is the best way to check how the kidneys are working. As a Urologist, we try to preserve kidney function to avoid dialysis and renal transplantation . Prevention prevents chronic kidney failure. How can we keep our kidneys healthy?

1. Taking approximately <2 liters of water each day is the best Way to prevent stones in the kidneys!

2. No smoking . The cigarette decreases blood flow to the kidneys and increases the risk of kidney cancer.
