If you remember some of my posts from my first round of motherhood, you will know I never found a carrier. I loved the newborn months. The Baby Bijorn and Ergo did not work for my little and I, and the Baby K'Tan seemed like it could have been amazing, but because I sized it wrong, it just felt too tight. I've got two options I'm trying this round, one is wrap style and one is sling, but both have fashionable mommy and me options for my toddler.

Modern Wrap caught my attention because of The striking black and white pattern which I thought would be great with a boy. Obviously I have not been able to try it on with the gigantic belly. I'm sporting these days, but the fabric feels soft after washing it and the wrap tutorials seem pretty straight forward. (More to come on that later I'm sure!)

Now the Baba Sling from Joovy I decided to try to fail safe incase I could not figure out the wrap. I know I see women in them all the time, but I still feel a bit stressed that I am counting on my own knot skills to keep my baby up and not falling down to the floor as I walk! The Baba Sling has a closure you adjust and then click like seatbelt so that's what it's like to take some stress off. I still feel like I may have to visit the ladies of The Pump Station to figure out the various positions you can use for both, but excited to have my newest baby in this soon and seeing my daughter play with her baby doll in the mini versions !
