Drake, the Chainsmokers lead with 22 Billboard Award nods

RCA Inspiration celebrates multiple nominations across all top Gospel categories for the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, with six total nominations for chart-toppers Kirk Franklin (Fo Yo Soul/RCA) and Travis Greene. It debuted in the top spot on Billboard's top US electronic and dance album chart and No. 5 on Billboard's Top 200 list.

The nominations for the 2017 Billboard Music Awards have been announced. It was found that the five main categories are Top Female and Male Artists, Top Hot 100 Song, Top Billboard 200 Album and Top Artist.

Other big contenders include twenty one pilots (17 nominations) and Rihanna (14).

On April 10, the Billboard Music Awards unveiled their nominees for Top Social Artist.

Drake, Wizkid and Kyla's One Dance, Justin Timberlake's Can't Stop The Feeling and Twenty One Pilots' Heathens are also in the running. The duo proved their staying power by nagging six nominations for the upcoming celebration, including a nod on the all-genre Top Duo/Group category.
