It's happening: Watch April the giraffe finally give birth

The Facebook feeds captured it all. Animal Adventure Park says the calf weighs about 150lbs and is about six feet tall.

The gender of the calf has not been known through April's pregnancy. However, they were unable to tell fans the name of the calf, as that will be decided by a contest. You can watch the live stream here.

April and Oliver have also been enjoying their new enrichment toys, the park reports. Two hours later, the calf's hind two legs and rear were visable. Her fans have always been watching the zoo's live stream since February, eagerly awaiting the moment she'll give birth to her fourth calf.

The second video in the above playlist features the birth archive, or the YouTube video when April gave birth.

"There you have it guys, we have a baby", he said. Remember, the Giraffe Cam was not set-up to capture an immediate birth - it was set-up to capture a process.

The Orioles love to slaughter the Jays with the long ball, as we saw with their two wins to start the season back in Baltimore. Over the course of the first 10 games, the Jays had just one four-run inning and five others in which they scored a pair.

April is 15. This will be her fourth calf.

The park is now closed to the public and will open in mid-May. We're waiting on word from Jordan Patch whether the calf will still be at the zoo on opening day.

More than 1.2 million people were tuned in to the park's stream on Saturday morning as the much-anticipated birth began.

However, there were no signs of the giraffe going into active labor till early Saturday, when April could be seen turning her neck towards her rear.

April was elsewhere when she gave birth to her first three calves, and this one will be the Harpursville zoo's first giraffe calf.
