NOAA: Two storms may bring up to 3 inches of rain

Rain is expected Monday and Monday night, and again Wednesday into Wednesday night, with some light snow possible overnight Wednesday into Thursday as strong low pressure moves across IL and the upper Ohio Valley, the National Weather Service said.

The rain total for April after the weekend's storm came in at 1.15 inches at 5 p.m. Sunday.

According to the South African Weather Service, there is a 30% chance of rain this week, with showers forecast for Thursday and Friday.

A 40 percent chance of precipitation in the morning will give way to sunny skies and a high near 56 Wednesday afternoon.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 57.

Rainfall Monday through Thursday in parts of southwest MI, northern in and northwest OH is expected to be two to three inches, with locally higher amounts possible.

After receiving rain Monday evening, Norwalk is expected to receive more rain today, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Saturday and Sunday hold a chance of showers. Breezy, with a west wind 17 to 23 miles per hour. South southwest wind 6 to 10 miles per hour. Overnight: Mostly clear and 49 degrees. Highs 73 to 78, lows 47 to 54.
