"Star Wars: Episode IX" and new "Indiana Jones" movie get release dates

The movie, which will bring back franchise star Harrison Ford (who will be almost 80 years old when the film hits theaters) and director Steven Spielberg, will now hit theaters a year later on July 10, 2020.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi comes out on December 15, but Star Wars Episode IX is set for a release on May 24, 2019.

Exciting news, Star Wars fans: The next, next chapter in the cinematic galactic saga has a release date. Now, even the upcoming "Han Solo" spin-off movie is scheduled to premiere in May 2018, which makes it the first "Star Wars" movie to be released during the summer since the relaunch of the franchise. This was followed by Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on December 16, 2016, and will continue (and, apparently, end) with this year's December 15 release of The Last Jedi.

Needle Moving Activity Spotted in The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO)
A month ago, they told us to expect earnings of US$0.48 per share while three months ago their EPS consensus estimate was US$0.5. The Coca-Cola Company (KO) has a mean recommendation of 2.67, according to data compiled by Zacks Investment Research.

That's less than a year and a half after the release of this year's Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. However, the Han Solo movie is now slated for release on May 25, 2018, so this move puts it in line with that.

At this point, "Star Wars IX" is still in the pre-production stage. The movie, which is bringing back Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford, was originally slated for release on July 19, 2019 - it'll now be here on July 10, 2020. The live-action Lion King remake directed by Jon Favreau is set for July 19 that same year. The upcoming movie has been pushed back from November 2018 to November 25, 2020 - a full two-year delay.

Fisher's brother, Todd Fisher, and her daughter, Billie Lourd, gave Disney the green light to use recent, unused movie footage of Fisher as Leia for 2019's Star Wars: Episode IX.
